Gonzalo ITURRIAGA DE JUAN
Graduated as an Agricultural Engineer in Madrid, Gonzalo joined ENSAM in Montpellier to pursue a specialization in viticulture and oenology. Back in Spain, he took the position of oenologist for the Alonso de Yerro Vineyard, a small family estate in the Ribero del Duero. He then joined Bodegas Habla and took on technical management before devoting 5 years to Lamothe Abiet as head of the Spain, Portugal and Latin America zones. He joined Tempos Vega Sicilia as Group Technical Director in 2015.

Laurent DELASSUS
Laurent Delassus joined Winery Opus One (Napa Valley) in 2012 as Vice-President of International Marketing. With the opening of an Opus One International office in Bordeaux, via a group of Bordeaux merchants, with a team based in Tokyo, Hong-Kong and Shanghai, he manages the distribution and promotion of Opus One across all international markets (except USA).

Axel HEINZ
Director of Domaines Ornellaia and Masseto, Axel Heinz acquired his first experience in winemaking at Château La Tour Carnet in Saint Laurent du Médoc. In 2001 in Saint-Emilion, he took on the post of Oenologist in charge of the Production of Château Fourcas Loubaney and Château La Dominique Saint-Emilion, Grand Cru Classé, as well as of Château la Commanderie de Mazeyres Pomerol, functions he held until 2004. In January 2005, he left for Italy to join the Ornellaia Estate as an oenologist. Since 2015, he has been Director of Domaines Ornellaia and Masseto.

Vincent DECUP
Lawyer specializing in wine law, Sommelier and distiller, Enrico Chioccioli Altadonna is Sales Manager of TONNELLERIE BARON in Italy. Before joining the Baron team in 2018, Enrico was Export Manager of the family estate in the Chianti Region, assistant Cellar Master then became Master Distiller before opening his own distillery in the heart of Tuscany. With his technical knowledge, Enrico helps Italian winegrowers to find the barrels best suited to their needs.

Alexandre GABRIEL
Alexandre Gabriel, owner and Master Blender has dedicated his life to creating exceptional cognacs for over 30 years. A true composer and conductor, he creates unique and singular products, surrounded by his team of passionate experts. His vision was enshrined in 2017 by the American Distilling Institute with a prestigious nomination for his undeniable contribution to the world of spirits.

Léa DESPORTES
Léa Desportes has been traveling the wine routes for many years. These took her to India, Burgundy and then Provence. She settled down in Paris in 2013 to become the editor of the Le Nez du Vin collection of olfactory books, a benchmark for professionals and amateurs who wish to exercise their sense of smell and understand the origin of wine fragrances. She is also the author of a book dedicated to the oak barrel published in 2021 by the same publisher and she now puts her pen to the service of other players in mondo vino. With Gabriel Lepousez, doctor in neuroscience and researcher in the Perception and Memory unit of the Institut Pasteur, in 2016 she created L’École du Nez, where she offered sensory workshops with an original approach to tasting.

Bertrand LEAUTÉ
Engineer graduated in 1994 from the National School of Chemistry and Physics of Bordeaux (ENSCPB) Bertrand Leauté is currently in charge of the LEC laboratory. Within the INRA center in Montpellier, he is in charge of the analytical part of the national “Tonnellerie 2000” program aimed at mapping the chemical composition of oak wood from French forests. Following this work, he joined the OENODEV-Boisé France companies, now VIVELYS, to develop the analyses necessary for monitoring the micro-oxygenation of wines and for the production of chips for oenological use. In 2006, he joined the Studies & Controls Laboratory in Cognac, a COFRAC accredited entity since 2001, of which he ended up taking over the management and management in 2010.

Fabienne BENEST
Head of the Forest Ecosystems Department, Water and Forestry Engineer since 1991, Fabienne Benest has managed public forests in the Vosges and the Alps, then worked in the decentralized services of the Ministry responsible for the environment, in metropolitan France and overseas, in the field of nature protection. She joined the national forest inventory in 2008, and is currently responsible for the Forest Ecosystems Department of IGN, which works on knowledge and monitoring of natural forest and tree habitats in France, their state of conservation, their biological and ecological characteristics. (flora, soils ...). She is a member of the Regional Scientific Council for Natural Heritage in New Aquitaine and Vice-President of the Commission for Protected Areas of the National Council for the Protection of Nature.

Enrico CHIOCCIOLI
An oenologist engineer by training, he made his debut in France and then in the USA within the properties of JP Moueix. In June 2014, he left his position as Technical Manager of Château Le Cône (Blaye) to take on the responsibility of Cellar and R&D Director at Château Montrose. Since 2017 and under impetus, the property's global environmental approach has been structured and expanded around essential experiments in the vineyard and in the cellar.
